AERIS, as a spin-off of Autonomous University of Barcelona, emerges from the collaboration of different research groups from around the world in various environmental areas. The research expertise of the members is reflected in the important number of R+D projects in which the company participates. Since 2015, the company has held the Innovative SME seal of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness.

Aeris, formed by a large group of university professors and prominent researchers, is aware of the importance of the continuous development of new products that can respond to the environmental needs of companies. Over the years, AERIS has developed many self-financed, privately funded and publicly funded projects.
